When you purchase products or services through our Site, the following terms apply:
-
Commitment to purchase: By completing the checkout process, you enter into a legally binding agreement to purchase the selected items.
-
Pricing: All prices are subject to change based on material costs, labor costs, or other factors beyond Willow Oak’s control. Additional taxes or fees may apply.
-
Payment: Payments are due at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing. A non-refundable 50% deposit is required for all orders and credited toward the final balance unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
-
Delivery and installation: Delivery dates are estimates and may change due to factors beyond our control. Customer must ensure adequate site access and preparation.
-
Late fees: Overdue balances are subject to a 1.5% monthly late fee (18% per annum).
6. Cancellation and refunds
Orders may be canceled with written consent, but the Customer will be responsible for costs incurred up to cancellation, including materials, labor, and fees. Once installation begins, no refunds are provided unless required by law.
7. Fulfillment and shipping
At Willow Oak Cabinetry & Design LLC, we are committed to ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of your cabinetry. The following Fulfillment and Shipping Policy outlines the terms and processes for fulfilling and delivering your order. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.
-
Made-to-order: All cabinets are made-to-order based on your specifications and design selections. As such, production begins only after we receive your signed approval of the design and required deposit (50% of the total order unless otherwise agreed to in writing).
-
Fulfillment timeline: The estimated production and delivery timeframe will be provided at the time of your order. Typical production timelines range from 3 - 6 weeks, depending on the complexity of your order. While we strive to meet estimated timelines, delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, such as supply chain disruptions or labor shortages. We will keep you informed of any significant changes to your estimated fulfillment date.
-
Shipping and delivery: Unless otherwise agreed to in writing, all cabinets are shipped pre-assembled to ensure the highest quality and to streamline the installation process. Cabinets will be delivered to the address provided at the time of purchase, which must be the property where installation will occur. The Customer is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the delivery address. You or an authorized representative must be present to inspect and sign for the delivery. If no one is available, additional delivery attempts will incur additional fees.
-
Site accessibility requirements: To ensure successful delivery, the Customer must provide safe and adequate access to the property. This includes:
-
Driveways, pathways, and entrances that can accommodate delivery vehicles.
-
Clear and prepared spaces for unloading the cabinets.
-
If the delivery is delayed or unsuccessful due to inadequate site preparation or access issues, the Customer may be charged additional fees for re-delivery or storage.
-
-
Inspection and acceptance:
-
Before delivery: All boxes are carefully inspected before leaving the facility to ensure they are in good condition. Once the freight carrier takes possession of the shipment, they assume responsibility for any damages or losses during transit.
-
Upon delivery: It is your responsibility to inspect the cabinets upon delivery and document any visible damage or defects before signing the delivery confirmation. Any damage or discrepancies must be reported to us within 48 hours of delivery, along with supporting photos or documentation. We will work promptly to resolve any issues reported within the specified timeframe. We also suggest:
-
Photograph the shipment: Take clear photos of the pallet(s) or loose packages as they are unloaded from the truck, even if no damage is immediately visible. These images may be necessary for resolving potential issues later.
-
Conduct a piece count: Verify that all items listed in your shipment are accounted for. Some items, such as crown molding or fillers, may be packaged together. Open accessory boxes in the presence of the driver if possible to confirm that all items are included. If you cannot locate an item, note it on the Proof of Delivery (POD) slip.
-
Inspect the packaging: Examine the exterior of each box for visible damage, such as cracks, dents, holes, or torn shrink wrap. You are not required to open every box, but the driver must allow you to inspect the exterior packaging.
-
Document Issues on the POD: If items are missing or damaged, clearly note this on the driver’s copy of the POD. Failure to report issues on the POD may prevent us from being able to replace or re-ship items.
-
-
If you receive damaged items:
-
Do not refuse delivery: Accept the shipment and note all damages on the driver’s copy of the POD.
-
Preserve packaging and materials: Keep all damaged items, packaging, and shipping materials intact. Do not assemble, install, alter, or dispose of any damaged items until the freight carrier completes their inspection as part of the claims process.
-
Contact us for assistance: If you need help or have questions during the claims process, reach out to us for updates and guidance.
-
-
-
Concealed damage: You have three (3) days to inspect all cabinet and accessory boxes after receiving your order. During this period, please thoroughly check for any damage, defects, or missing items. To qualify for potential repair or replacement, you must report any issues to us within three (3) days of receiving your order. If you identify a problem, please contact us promptly.
-
Delays beyond our control: We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, shipping carrier delays, strikes, or other unforeseen circumstances.
-
Additional costs: Any additional delivery fees, re-delivery charges, or costs associated with inadequate site access or delays caused by the Customer will be the responsibility of the Customer. These fees will be communicated and billed as necessary.
